First Aid Course

Description

The primary objective of this course is to equip trainees with knowledge about the general principles of first aid and how to act in providing first aid.

Target Audience

All company employees who wish to acquire appropriate knowledge for providing first aid in case of an emergency, with priority given to the registration of individuals who are part of rescue and emergency teams, or who are somehow responsible within the organization for acting when an accident or sudden illness occurs.

Program Content

Module I – First Aid

Integrated Medical Emergency System (SIEM)
Risks for the Rescuer
Victim Examination
Airway Obstruction by Foreign Body
Basic Life Support (BLS) 6. Recovery Position (PLS)
Special situations: Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), Stroke (CVA), Seizure, Glycemia Alterations, Hemorrhages, Burns.

Module II – Pediatric Basic Life Support

Pediatric Particularities;
Medical emergencies: hyperthermia, febrile seizure, poisonings, hemorrhages, muscle injuries;
Airway Obstruction;
Pediatric Basic Life Support;
The reality of drownings.
