The partnership between Socorsul and Centralmed began in 2012, with significant strengthening from 2019 onwards. Since then, it has proven fruitful in establishing a solid culture of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). The results of this close and trust-based collaboration are now quite evident.
What is Socorsul and what was its challenge?
Socorsul was established in 1986. Since then, it has been engaged in commercial and industrial activities in the field of waste recovery and valorization, with the fundamental mission of effectively protecting the environment through recycling. Its journey to the present day has been marked by constant growth in the market in which it operates.
Anselmo Gaspar, manager of Socorsul, states that “in addition to the environmental concern inherent to the activity, the company set the objective of investing in Workplace Safety, as workers are the most valuable asset of companies.”
Due to the demands inherent to the new industrial licensing process, Socorsul felt the need in 2019 to secure more effective support in the area of Workplace Safety services. Consequently, a partnership was established with Centralmed to address some gaps in this crucial area.
